ASIS Boats has been named “Business of the Year” at the 2015 Gulf Capital SME Awards, which took place in Dubai last week. ASIS Boats celebrated a double win, with Founder and President Roy Nouhra also scooping the award for “Entrepreneur of the Year”. The prestigious recognition programme honours the success, growth, and innovation of SME businesses, entrepreneurs, and business leaders in the UAE.
Amidst keen competition, ASIS Boats was recognized for successfully delivering key goals, maintaining strong competitor advantage, and driving both growth and innovation. The judges also considered the level of customer service, future growth plans, human capital development within the company, and the dynamic leadership of the business.
As Entrepreneur of the Year, Roy Nouhra was voted the most inspiring, dynamic, and driven leader. Evaluation in this category included approaches and actions applied to challenges in growing a successful business and how this was achieved through passion, commitment, innovation, market knowledge, innovation, and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
